Calculate safe reserve landing zone dimensions based on canopy type and conditions.
Reserve canopies, especially round reserves, have much poorer glide ratios than sport canopies. Round reserves descend at 15-20 ft/sec with minimal forward glide. Always land into the wind when possible and identify a clear landing area before every jump.
